The food quality is exceptional, with highlights including flavorful pasta, generous portion sizes, and the highly praised Profiterole Sundaes for dessert. Customers appreciate the variety on the menu, from classic pizzas to innovative specials.
The dog-friendly courtyard offers a unique dining option in a relaxing setting—it's a perfect choice for those looking to enjoy a meal outside while spending quality time with their pets.
Some diners note that the portion sizes can be quite large, potentially leading to food waste or the need for a doggy bag, which might not suit everyone’s preference for manageable servings.
The establishment does not offer takeaway services, which can be a drawback for patrons eager to enjoy the delicious meals at home or on the go.
A few customers found the vibrancy of the courtyard overly relaxed, feeling it might be less suitable for a quick lunch during busy afternoons.
Went here for a family lunch. Had the chicken and chorizo tagliatelle off the specials board and a glass of one of the house reds. Shared a garlic bread starter, which the waitress pointed out would easily be enough for two. The food was well presented, tasted as good as it looked and delivered with a smile. My only thought was the portions are a bit on the large size and a rest was needed before taking on the tiramisu, rich and excellent flavours. Highly recommended
Lovely Italian restaurant located on the high street. As well as the main restaurant inside, they have a courtyard with about 7 tables at the front of the restaurant that is dog friendly. The courtyard is very nice and has a relaxing setting with parasols and plants giving a very relaxing vibe. Service was friendly and all the food that we ordered were delicious. The garlic bread is a loaf with a generous helping of garlic butter. The pasta was spot on, it was flavoursome and had a generous amount of meat. The calzone was massive. It was tasty and comes with salad on the side. The sea bass was very soft and comes with potatoes and vegetables. The pitcher of Pimm’s helped complement the meal. It was perfectly made with the perfect amount of alcohol. The price was very reasonable. This is a wonderful place. We will definitely return. Highly recommended.
Can’t fault Ginalis at all. The service was amazing, really and genuinely attentive, food was tasty and all came out fresh and piping hot and very good prices and portion sizes. Had the cheesy garlic bread and king prawn on ciabatta for starters. Carbonara for my son, pizza for the little one which was amazing value for a kids meal, I had meatballs and wife had the sea bass. All was great, flavourful. Desserts were top as well, soooo good. 🤤 best Italian I have been to. I highly recommend if in the Poole/Bournemouth area and looking for great Italian restaurant 👍🏽😊😍🇮🇹🍝
Very enjoyable restaurant experience. Clean, courteous and professional staff. All of the food was fresh, well prepared and served piping hot. Great experience, will definitely go again
What an absolute gem. We've walked past a few times before and now regret every time we didn't come. The food is excellent, the service exceptional and all without breaking the bank. The kids menus is great with lots of choice and fairly priced. 10 out of 10
An absolutely brilliant find with outstanding service, delicious food and a pleasant atmosphere. Portions are generous, produced quickly and delivered to your table with a smile. The pizza I ordered had the best pizza base I have ever eaten. I'd fully recommend.
Just off Poole high street. Very good Italian, best pizza I've had for ages and the other dishes were just as good. Great value for the wine, [ you don't often see wine under 20 quid] very attentive service from a lovely couple of ladies. I do recommend, see you there.
